Maggie is a joyful collaborator who is interested in music-making of all kinds.
She frequently appears with many different ensembles and in many different musical contexts.
As a student, Maggie spent her summers at Domaine Forget, Wabass Institute, Sarasota Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Tanglewood Music Center and Aspen Music Festival.
She is a graduate of Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music. At Rice, Maggie studied with Paul Ellison and worked closely with Tim Pitts. She also received a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. As a young person, Maggie was very lucky to study with Bryan Thomas, Tracy Rowell, and Henry Peyrebrune.
